Weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits that keep your pool looking (and feeling) like it just got filled — no shortcuts, no skipped steps, rain, shine or humidity.
We work to the same checklist every time, whether it's week one or week fifty — so nothing gets skipped just because it's been a quiet week or the weather's been kind.
Warm water, high humidity and near-constant UV exposure are exactly the conditions algae and bacteria love. A pool that would stay clear for weeks down south can turn cloudy or green in days here over summer if it's neglected — which is why we recommend weekly or fortnightly visits for most Gold Coast backyards in peak season, stepping out to monthly for lower-use or well-shaded pools.
Jacarandas, poincianas and frangipanis are everywhere on the Coast, and they drop hard from late spring through summer — right when pools get the most use. Add pollen season on top and skimmer baskets fill up fast. Regular cleans stop debris breaking down and staining the pool floor or clogging your filter.
Storm season (roughly November to April) can dump a season's worth of leaves and grime into an open pool in a single afternoon. Pools near trees or open to the weather generally do best on a weekly clean through summer, stepping back to fortnightly over the cooler, drier months.
If you're closer to the beach, salt-laden air adds extra wear to pool surrounds, fencing and equipment. It's not something a clean alone fixes, but it's exactly why our visits include a visual equipment check every time — so small issues get caught before they turn into a bigger, more expensive job.
